Making Fusion Scale

Building a stable foundation for energy resilience.

Our mission

"Deliver power generation technology which meets both environmental and economic demands in the long term."

Efficient. Safe. Clean. Resilient.

⚙️

Engineering
Break-even

While a race to build the first fusion power plant is underway, progress remains constrained.

Improvements in energy yield are limited by plasma instability, which lets energy leak out.

Current solutions for containing the energy are expensive, with no realistic way to scale.

🔄

Commercial
Break-even

Atum is developing IsoZero: a radical approach to energy confinement.

IsoZero is designed to tackle instability at the source, minimising energy losses and maximising energy output per unit cost.

We think IsoZero will take fusion energy generation from engineering triumph to economic success.

 🌱

Abundant
Growth

With advanced computational physics, we are demonstrating how IsoZero reshapes the limits of conventional confinement.

Together, we can build a stable foundation for power generation that grows with both financial & environmental sustainability.

Our Solutions

✏️ IsoZero ©

Our proprietary energy confinement method. A ground-breaking magnetic field geometry designed to minimise energy losses from fusion reactor cores.

From 2030, we will make our intellectual property available as a licensed methodology for up-and-coming fusion reactors.

🛡️ Simulation Software

Alongside IsoZero, we are developing the advanced computational tools necessary to model and optimise these systems. A digital twin for future reactors enables us to iterate and de-risk our capital rapidly.

From 2030, we will launch our software ConfiNeX as a a unified tool for the growing fusion industry's design and analysis needs.

⚛️ Reactor Engineering

Using our technology stack, we aim to design a new generation of reactors that is aligned with future resource availability, climate and engineering capabilities.

Our aim is provide a reactor design licensed to be built worldwide.

What We Offer

Benefits

⚖️

Intrinsically Stable

Compact & Scalable

📈

Financially Sustainable

A stable plasma core leads to smaller energy leaks

Less leakage means smaller, more efficient reactors

This clears the path for commercial fusion reactors

🚀

2040s

Scale

Using our IsoZero blueprint, we will produce scalable power plants ready for the 2050 energy transition.

🎯

2030

Launch

We will launch a licensable reactor design alongside modelling and analysis software for instability suppression.

📍

2026

Build

We are building proprietary computer simulations to help us design, optimise, and validate our reactors.

Simulations safeguard prototyping and proof of concept with less capital at risk.

Atum is raising funding to support work and the computational facilities for this phase of the project.

2025

Founding

IsoZero was first developed: a pioneering plasma confinement geometry developed to build scalable fusion reactors.

Our process begins with an innately stable geometry at its core, and our ethos is one of foundational stability. We know that instability creates uncertainty, losses, and a plethora of risks.
